Three poems ("Le Poeme de la Duegne Accroupie"; "Le Poeme de la Mer Habitee"; "Stele des Iles"), apparently first published by Editions Quartz in 1959, here illustrated with the author's drawings. Trace of sticker removal on front cover; center sheet laid in (not caught by staples); otherwise very good, and very warmly inscribed by the author on the title page. Ten of the thirty-three numbered sections of the poems have been identified with small numbers in parentheses, 1) through 10), in ink, whether by the author or recipient it is difficult to determine.
