A short story, subjected to an exuberant and uncompromising typographic and material reincarnation by the brilliant and slightly mad Aaron Cohick, the Printer at the Press at Colorado College. The text, with its constantly changing sizes, alignments, and orientations, enacts a visual drama against a dynamic backdrop of textures printed from fabric and paper collages, scrims painted directly onto the page, and combinations of the two. The results vary significantly (and deliberately) from one copy to another, and the various strategies taken together demand the utmost in engagement and active reading from the witting or unwitting person turning the pages.
