One of a very small number of hors commerce proofs of images from the very first Crab Quill Press book, A Mischievity of Craneflies: or the Roguery of Holurusia rubiginosa. Each of the nine engravings in the book shows craneflies interacting with other animals (in this instance, Felis catus). Titled and signed in pencil by the artist, and with both a Crab Quill and a Sitka chop (i.e., Sitka Center for Art & Ecology in Otis, Oregon, founded by the artist's parents).
