Apex of the Earth's Way
Buffalo, NY: White Pine Press, 1984.
First Edition. (11) pp., 4 x 6.75 inches. Illustrated. Saddle-stapled into printed card covers. Light wear and very mild crease to corner, otherwise very good in bright, clean wrappers. Item #4703
Four poems chronicling the apex of the seasons, the points midway between equinoxes and solstices, "celebrated by the earliest people" — Lammas, Hallowe'en, Candlemas, and Beltane. With a warm inscription by the author to "Ira" (most likely Ira Cohen), in which she refers to the poems as "s song of the mother and her antler extremity." An uncommon title.
