A catalogue of twenty-nine specimens, with introductory text. Ethnologist and archaeologist Walter Hough (1859-1935) was Assistant Curator of the Division of Ethnology of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History from 1896 to 1910, and Curator from 1910 until his death. He went on to publish many articles and books about the collections, and about the Hopi in particular.
