A pair of postcards, the first of which prints the text of the poem, in three stanzas and dated “Jan 17-22, 1977”, and the second featuring a musical setting of the first and third stanzas, in the author’s hand.

The second card (labeled on the reverse “Special Post Card Series 8” from “Hardly Press”) identifies the poem as coming from a collection entitled “Contest of Bards” and bears the printed annotation: “First Notation/May 1977/Oregon//Allen Ginsberg/Kesey’s House —> S.F.”.
