Monte Carlo: Andre Sauret, 1963.
First printing. 208 pp., 10 x 13 inches. Cloth in printed dust-jacket. Text and reproductions printed by Draeger Freres, and original lithographs by Mourlot Freres. Tiny stains to top edge near spine, light wear to edges of boards, a stray ink mark to edge of one page, and a slight sag of the text block (typical for a heavy book of this sort), otherwise very good and internally about fine, in a very good jacket with wear and very small losses at the crown and foot of the spine, not affecting the jacket lithograph. Item #4575
A solid copy of Volume II of the six-volume comprehensive catalogue of the prolific and celebrated lithographic work of Marc Chagall, with an introductory essay and catalogue notes by the great printer/publisher Fernand Mourlot.
