Illustrated throughout, with more than 400 black-and-white photographs and reproductions of schematic diagrams, advertisements, and documents, and more than 250 color photographs, many full page. In very fine condition, nearly as new (save for a small, faint spot on first few pages), in a near very good case with split corners and some discoloration. Inscribed on the front free endsheet by Nancy Cord Phelps (eldest of Cord’s three daughters with his second wife, Virginia Kirk Tharpe). Item #4150

A massive, detailed history of the many enterprises of Errett Lobban Cord (1894–1974), primarily in automobiles, but also in aircraft, real estate, mining, politics, and so on.
