Melano, Switzerland: CAOS Press, 1979.

117 pp., small 8vo. Edition of 500 copies, perfect-bound in illustrated wrappers. With a Burroughsian tickertape (running at the foot of every page) by Juergen Ploog, and twenty-four pages of photographs. Some scuffing to covers, light wear to corners, and soiling to edges, still a very good, tight copy, inscribed in the year of publication to soprano saxophonist Steve Lacy.

Experimental documentary prose by the publisher of the important Beat magazine Soft Need, friend and follower of William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin — whose portraits (along with Kerouac, Ginsberg, Ploog, Steve Lacy, Franco Beltrametti, and others) appear in the section of photographs. Inscribed (“¡con much gusto!") to Lacy, with a note on one page registering frustration with a printer's error.
