Tokyo: Kodansha, 1965
63 pp., 4to. Stamped cloth in photo-illustrated dust-jacket. Translated by Harold P. Wright, with preface and postscript by Shigemi Furuta, illustrated throughout with thirty-six black-and-white reproductions of photographs. Occasional touches of off-setting, not affecting images or text; a couple of very faint small spots to cloth near top of front cover; otherwise very good, in a very good price-clipped jacket with several closed tears and scrapes.

One of Hosoe’s earlier books, illustrating poems written by a young girl after the loss of her mother. The richly printed images seem almost like gravures.
